“Pasta it Forward” is a new initiative by the Canadian Italian Heritage Foundation to feed those in need during the trying times as a result of COVID-19 and the corresponding economic difficulties.

“Feeding our community and helping those in need is what we do” said Frances Tibollo, President of the Canadian Italian Heritage Foundation.

“We are so fortunate to have a vibrant team of volunteers and amazing corporate donors who together have prepared and delivered +15,000 hot meals over the last few weeks to those in need and frontline workers who are protecting us all” stated Tibollo.

Our mission is simple: Support anyone in need from seniors to families to frontline workers.

We have gained the support of several major donor partners for all the materials necessary to prepare over 15,000 portions of “pasta al forno” that are being delivered all over Toronto, the GTA, Vaughan, Brampton and Mississauga.

The tray of pasta is free of charge, and we simply ask that one day, if and when you can, you pay it forward in some way to help someone in need.

Our goal is to feed 500+ meals daily to anyone in need as well as healthcare workers across Toronto, GTA, Vaughan, Mississauga and Brampton. Here are a list of hospitals and facilities we have delivered to:
